Summary: I rarely (not to say never) write reviews but here the experience was just perfect. We went for a cooking class, we can back with way more than that. Rabab felt us welcome, she explained us the context, the history and the importance of her culture and her cooking. Within minutes, we felt like home and talking about a millions things other then cooking. But to reassure, the cooking itself was extremely satisfying and authentic. 20/20.

Summary: Rabab collected us from the Mosque in Taghazout and we were driven for 15 minutes into a small Berber village in the hills. Rabab and her helpers welcomed us with a traditional Moroccan tea making ritual and homemade cakes. Then we went to a separate rustic area where we prepared a fish and a chicken tagine - chopping the vegetables, infusing the meat/fish with spices and then placing in the tagine for cooking. While the tagine cooked we made local bread from flour, semolina, yeast, and water. After lots of mixing and kneeding the dough, we then each baked our bread in the Berber oven. When ready we ate the bread and tagine. Rabab and her helpers were very friendly and engaging. An excellent experience. The only improvement would be the provision of bottled water which had been advertised.

Summary: From the moment we arrived in the village, we were welcomed with warmth and genuine hospitality. Rabab shared her deep knowledge of authentic, traditional Berber cooking, guiding us step-by-step through recipes that have been passed down for generations. The setting itself is magical — cooking in the heart of a Berber village, surrounded by beautiful mountain views and the aroma of fresh herbs and spices. Everything was hands-on, from preparing the vegetables to learning the perfect balance of flavors. It’s not just a cooking class, it’s a real cultural immersion — a chance to connect with local traditions, taste authentic dishes, and experience the joy of sharing a meal prepared with love. I left with a happy heart, a full stomach, and new skills I’ll treasure forever. Highly recommended for anyone who wants more than just a meal — this is the true taste of Morocco!
